New concept cars made their respective debuts at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show. The 2011 Shanghai Auto Show saw the worldwide premieres of several
concept cars, some of which like the
Lamborghini Aventador seen here will one day see production.

Peter Horbury, Volvo's chief designer, says "We're trying to dig deeper to find a beautiful Volvo." For the Concept Universe, he dug all the way back to the PV544, which featured a broad front end and an elevated cowl line.

The A3 sedan is the latest Audi to get the electric e-tron treatment. In this case, it's powered by a 2-liter engine and an electric motor that Audi claims will get the car from zero to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, and on to a top speed of 150 mph.
